Daniel Mariotti (1992, Mesa, United States) makes photos, drawings, and prints taking inspiration from science and philosophy. In 2014 he received his BFA in Photography and a BFA in Printmaking from Arizona State University. Shortly after graduation he became an artisan for internationally-known fine art bronze foundry, Bollinger Atelier, with whom he has had the opportunity to work with world-renowned artists such as Louise Bourgeois and Tom Sachs, as well as local artists Ed Mell and Rusty Bowers. During his weekends he offers his time helping youth through Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona.
His work has been published by LUX (2014, 2015), HAFNY (2017), Light Leaked (2017), and Average Art in the UK. He has exhibited in Tohono Chul (Tucson), The Lion’s Den (Austin, Texas), Art Intersection (Gilbert), University of Nebraska (Lincoln), Modified Arts (Phoenix), and most recently in Millepiani (Rome, Italy).
